Santa Claus is Coming to Town for Pet Pictures, Nov. 6 & 7!

The Vanderburgh Humane Society’s annual Pet Pictures with Santa is back! 

Join us, with the REAL Santa, October 6th & 7th at Washington Square Mall. Pets of all species and humans of all ages are invited to pose with Santa! This holiday tradition is proudly sponsored by Pet Supplies Plus and NFP Insurance. 

All pets must be kept on a leash or in a carrier until the time of their photo. Pets should also be friendly and current on vaccinations. 

Times are as follows: 

Saturday, November 4th -- 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Sunday, November 5th -- 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM

For $30, participants receive two digital images for their own use. (Add $5 additional for physical prints that will be mailed to you.) Photos may include more than one animal, and kids and adults are also welcome in photos! This is an excellent opportunity for a family Christmas card. Costumes are welcome, and holiday accessories for pets are available free of charge! 

The VHS was the first in the area to introduce Pet Pictures with Santa. Net proceeds average $8,000 a year. Typically, the 2-day event sees hundreds of pet owners bringing pets of all types. Santa has been known to visit with not only dogs but cats, pocket pets, rabbits, chickens, snakes, pigs, even goats & horses! Funds raised from this event will help the VHS care for nearly 4,000 animals that are surrendered to the facility each year and provide low cost spay/neuter services.
