Spay & Neuter Services

The Davidson-Rausch Low-Cost Spay & Neuter Clinic opened to the public on the Vanderburgh Humane Society campus on August 1, 2007. We have provided more than 80,000 surgeries since that date. The quality of our services is just as impressive as our volume of patients. Our staff is made up of compassionate animal lovers. Rest assured your beloved pet is in safe, caring, and professional hands.

Surgeries are normally scheduled by appointment only Monday through Friday. Click here to make an appointment for your dog or cat! (If you need a rabbit spayed or neutered, please contact the Clinic office at 812-426-2563, option 1.) Please note that our Clinic is currently scheduling at least 8 weeks in advance. If you get an error message that there isn't an appointment available, keep trying daily until you get one.

*Since our Clinic is often booked well in advance, here's another option! Public Vet is a traveling spay/neuter team that occasionally comes to Evansville offering CAT spay/neuter specifically! Dr. Peavy and her team will be here again in June 2021. If you can't get an appointment at our Clinic soon enough, click here to sign your cat(s) up for available slots with them! *Public Vet is not affiliated with the VHS Clinic in any way. Contact them with any questions whatsoever.*

If you have questions regarding an existing VHS appointment, email [email protected].

Is your pet already fixed and they only need their annual vaccinations? Check out our Saturday Low-Cost Vaccine Clinics! No appointment needed!
