Liz Maurer

Liz has been practicing yoga for over 20 years and recently got certified to teach so she can share her passions of self care and holistic wellness with the community. Her home studio is Evansville Power Yoga, but she also loves practicing at home with her cats! A lifelong cat lady, Liz and her partner currently have two senior cats, Sputnik and Toby, and a one-year-old named Oleander who was adopted from River Kitty!

Brooke Armbruster

Brooke has been teaching Yoga for 8 years and a cat lover her whole life. Originally from northern Indiana, she earned her 200 hour Yoga Certification at PranaYoga in Fort Wayne, IN in 2015 and immediately started teaching group classes. She initially started teaching at River Kitty in 2019 and is thrilled to be back. You can expect her classes to be based on classic Hatha Yoga with a slower pace and soothing approach to bring cats to your mat.

Off the mat you can find Brooke at home with her cat Betty, who loves to scratch and roll around on the yoga mat!
