Adopting an Animal
The Vanderburgh Humane Society does not sell animals. Our animals are placed for adoption, and as with any adoption, you become responsible for this pet for the remainder of its life. Pet ownership is rewarding, but it is also a serious responsibility, therefore potential adopters, must first fill out an application and deliver it to the VHS during our adoption hours in order to adopt an animal from the VHS. We will not hold an animal for any reason.
Please browse the listing of animals below or you may use the VHS PET FINDER to find the right animal for you!
